What is the difference between the YMCA and the Wellness Centre?
The YMCA of Pictou County is tenant of the Pictou County Wellness Centre. We rent from the Wellness Centre and operate the Fitness Centre, Pool, Gymnasium and Childcare Centre on one side of the building. - Are dogs allowed in the facility? Pets are not permitted in the facility, Service Animals only
- Why do I need a Government Issued Photo ID or YMCA Card to enter the YMCA? Nationally, the YMCA has a Child Safeguarding policy. As part of this policy, we must have a record of anyone who enters the YMCA facility and verify their identity. This is to keep children participating in our programming safe. Examples of Acceptable photo ID include : Driver’s Liscence, Nova Scotia ID, Passport, Military ID.
