Join us to support Community Health with a double MEGAthon! Sign up with your friends, family and co-workers. Set your own challenge.

How to participate

1. Register early at the YMCA Membership Desk to ensure your space. MEGAthon  - $25.00 Registration fee  KIDS/Family MEGAthon - $10.00 Registration fee

 2. Choose one or more classes. Up to six hours available. For the schedule, please click here.

3. Get pledges or make a donation. 

4. Have fun!  Prizes available! (child care is available)


School Challenge:  Chance to win a pool party for your school

You will receive a point for every student that participates. The school with the most points win. Must check in at the sign in desk on the day of the MEGAthon. (Capacity and scheduling restrictions)


Where do the funds go? Proceeds from the event help to ensure that kids, youth, adults, seniors and families have the opportunities they need to reach their potential and to live healthier, happier lives. Each year, our YMCA provides more than $250,000 in financial assistanc to day camp, after school programming, swimming lessons and membership assistance. 

As a charity committed to building healthy communities, we prioritize services that make people strong in all sorts of ways — physically, mentally and socially. We hope you will join us in supporting a healthier, stronger and connected Pictou County.
